I'm hosting a radio show!

Dear Friends,

I have a bit of exciting news to share. This Sunday 26 July at 7pm I’ll be going live on Frome FM 96.6FM, hosting my own one hour radio show called Magpie’s Folk Cafe: New Wings.

I added New Wings to the title because the show itself already existed. It was created and hosted by Patrick Moss, Magpie Patrick, who sadly passed away at the beginning of the year. Patrick was a dear friend. He had me on his show as an artist, played my songs, and in the early days I even co hosted with him. Stepping into this space now feels like a real honour and a way of carrying forward the legacy he built with such heart and generosity.

We also have the next Songbird Sessions coming up in less than a week, and I’m so happy to share that our guest performer will be Patrick Blooming.

Patrick Blooming

Australian born singer songwriter Patrick Blooming brings a rare blend of tenderness and strength to his music, shaped by years of travelling, teaching, and performing across the UK and beyond. His songs move between intimate storytelling and soaring heartfelt moments, and his presence on stage has a way of drawing listeners into a shared stillness. Many of you will know him from his vibrant performances around the South West, and I’m delighted he’ll be joining us for this July session.

You can listen to Patrick’s beautiful song Olivia here :
